It is really important because we need a balance between all the careers, we need more scientist in the world, and also we need to encourage children that may found their passion in science. First there is a imbalance between careers, because most of the children when they become adults, want to study business or other careers. They usually don't think about studying science. Also we need more scientist in the world, because there are many problems we have to face. So we need more scientists that make research, and try to solve the problems in the world we live. For example, cancer research. If we have more scientist we will also have more chances to find a cure. In addition we have to encourage children to study this career when they grow up. Because they may be the salvation of our world in the next generation. One of them may found inspiration and passion to become a scientist in a future. My home country don't encourage children at all to find their passion for this career.
