  2. This is one reasons that i am very happy to be here because i have never hear about something that was stolen or a crime etc.
another thing i think that people her is very honest because i lose my wallet and in a couple of hours somebody call me and return to me.
i think that other universities do not have the same "code of honor" and it is more easy to hear about steals or crimes.

  3. Till now, I do not have any experience of crime in Provo.I think BYU is a pretty safe place in the U.S. It is because students here obey the honor code. It is also the reason why I chose BUY to study.

  4. Well first i've been only for 2 months here so i don't have much experience for the moment. But even so, i have noticed that there is crime in BYU not because of reading this article, but because my friends have tell me stories that are real, and also i have a friend who had a 500$ bike that was stolen a couple of weeks ago. My friend told his story to the police but they never found his bike... Comparing crime in BYU with universities in my country, BYU is pretty much safe. That's a reason why i was sent here. But as well i am used to be careful everywhere because of my country insecurity. So i never trusted BYU safety at all, and tried to be careful even if it is a low crime place. In my country there are SEVERAL thefts, rapes, murders, and drugs at the universities... Actually alcohol is not prohibited. And almost all students doesn't have a car so.. In comparison BYU is a super safe university! but even so i will be careful for my own sake.. I have heard stories of rapes in provo so i will be careful even if BYU is really safe. Because you never know..

  5. The article talked about stastics of BYU's crimes which compared with other universities in 2011. BYU has so low crimes basically. Most students said that BYU has a benefic which we don't need to care about crime too much. Because we think that the policy of the mormon affect low crimes. According to stastics, we didn't occur any rape last year.
