First, having a good reputation, background or knowing the right people might help. Second, being a president of a university is not only authority for men, welcome women to apply. Third, leadership is one of the most important thing to be a president of a university. Fourth, to be a president of a university, you need enjoy working with students/young people and of course love them. Lastly, have good grades is important but luck gives you more chance.
