When i came back to colombia in 2008 i passed for one situation that i was feeling bad and good at the same time. i was walking and one guy that was homeless asked me the money i passed him because in my city in Italy usually i did not see homeless, so i felt bad because i knew that i had everything that i wanted and this guy that maybe was four or five years younger than me did not have anything ask me the money that i had when i felt bad i come back to him and i gave all money that i had in that moment and i told him to eat and that does not buy drugs or something else, he said maybe ten times thank you and in that moment i felt good. Now i think that serve someone made you feel better.

I like so much this article. I like the explanation about mother Teresa. She is a wonderful example. He explained that we can do small things and help others. It make a different right now. Small thing every day can be a big things. Also he explained that if we are busy with study, we can put the books away for an hour an visit someone who need help. Jennifer Bradford
ReplyDeleteI remember one time a friend call me asking me to give him a ride, I had nothing to do, I was just being lazy in my house. He really needed someone to give him a ride to go to the doctor but I didn't wanted to go. So I decided not to take him and I stayed home to take a nap. When I was in my bed trying to sleep, I couldn't! I didn't sleep at all. I felt so bad for not taking him. In other opportunity I was assigned to visit a sister from the branch. When I got there I noticed that she was working in her backyard and she is pretty old so, I decided to help her do the hard work and, when we were done I felt so good, It was a feeling that I can't describe. Helping others is my favorite thing in the world now. That's why went on a LDS mission, to help those in need of a change of heart.
