  1. MTC wants to built high building as long as one of downtown buildings in Provo. However, neighbors don't want to built the highest building in BYU. Their opinion is to built a high building, it looks like urban quality. And if they build the building maybe many buildings will follow structure of the building. That is why they would like to negotiate with officers from MTC.

  3. This article is talking about protesting construction of new MTC building with ballon. Residents reject the construction because it is just replacement for other buildings that are obsolete, and the height is excessively tall. And they support their argument by citing an agreement that MTC building can't excess four stories. For this reason, they disagree with the construction and protest it with ballon.

  4. This article talks about how the MTC wants to build a 16 story building, but the neighborhood disagrees with this idea. Therefore, these people who live around the MTC have been meeting regularly and their goal is to convince MTC officials to change 16 story building plan. They even put balloons on 16 floor tall to show what will be look like when the MTC new 16 story building accomplished. In my opinion, I don't agree the MTC neighbors oppose the new building because that is the MTC's private property. Randy Lin

  5. Well i'm not really sure about how much influency could they have, but we'll figure it out this saturday and see what happens. I believe it depends of the owner of the property, if it is a person who is interested in community and cares about the other people opinion and it is really open-minded he may change his desition and build a smaller MTC or change the construction place. But if he decided to build it there considerating the opinion of the neighboors, i dont think they may have influency over the desition of building this private property as well. I believe that if the neighboors fight for what they want and keep protesting, they maybe change the owners mind because after all neighboors will always be by your properties side, so it's someting to consider.

  6. This article talks about the new building for the MTC. the neighbors do not want a tall building because they want a family neighborhood. The new MTC will be as the tall of the Kimball's Tower. The neighbors maybe want a please with a beautiful view, but if the MTC will be tall, It is not good for them. Jennifer Bradford
