This article is a review of Men In Black 3 which is a movie about aliens and a government agency that is trying to stop them. The review discusses ways that the movie improved from the second Men In Black but also identifies someways the movie did not improve. "Some people like it when their favorite movie comes out with a sequel (a second or third movie that is about the same charactres). Others seem to always be disappointed when the sequel changes or isn't as good as the first. What's your opinion? Should successful movies be remade?"
In my opinion i prefer the sequel because it is good because this continuous the same story that you left and that maybe in one movie cannot describe all story such as:The Grandfather, The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Bourne Identity etc. Many time the people said that is better the first movie because the second one is not like the first or sometimes it is only to make money and not for following the story such as Matrix.

Well sometimes they should be remade. For example star wars. I'M SURE, that if they remake part 4 5 6 and 7, it would definitely be a success. But as well it depends. If the material can be explode and make a good movie with enough content and entertainment story line, that doesn't look over wasted, then movies should be remake. Some movies needs to have sequels for sure! Like harry potter and it's 7 books. Or hunger games sequel. These movies have books and a good story to explode, that would be probably a successful movie. A lot of movie sequels are better than the first one. Some examples, harry potter 4 was better than the first, star wars III was better than the very first one, and pirates of the caribean 3 was better than the second and first. I believe some movies sequels SUCKS, just a shreck 4 or MIB 2 the story is done, it has nothing else to explode, so they shouldn't keep using the material for making money because watchers can notice this type of movies and they got disappointed and mad.

In my opinion I like when my favorite movie comes out with sequel because I love to see the same characters in action again. Otherwise, it's a bit disappointed when isn't as good as first. However, I think they should be continue remaking successful movies.
ReplyDeleteSome people like movies with a second, third and even a fourth part of the main or the first movie. Some others don't because it loose the originality of the first one or the characters are others. I think that people is not always going to be happy with what they see. Some scenes are going to like them ad some others don't. I actually haven't watch a movie that I have liked a sequel, So I think one is enough, like Titanic for example if there was a sequel I don't think it would be as famous as the first one because Leonardo DiCaprio or "Jack" died in the story, so a second one will only be Rose and her life after the titanic. (not as interesting as the first one)
ReplyDeleteI think that it depends on what kind of movies or who is directors. I am not very interested in MIB but I really like Iron Man. it showed second one but I still I am very much looking forward to Iron Man. Therefore, it is depends on people's picks. If there is really good series movies, but people do not like it. Then that movie is not good.
ReplyDeleteI like the movie with a sequel. Sometimes, a sequel of movie is really not fun. But there are some movies that people wait to come a sequel. In my case, I love Harry potter series. The movie was with my teenagers. If the movie ended without a sequel, I would have been disappointed. Actually, I like to see same characters in a sequel. And I think the movie can be loved more longer due to sequels.

In my opinion, I don't really care if they are serial movies or not, but I do believe good movies should be made nonstop if they are a sequel. For example: The lord of the rings, the long story was made nonstop and connected well. When you watch three of them from the beginning to the end, there is no gap between the movies. However, some of the movies producer do it differently. They made first movie to see how people react, if the outcome of the first movie was good, then they will made second movie. Most of time, when this phenomenon happened, the sequel were not as good as first one.
