  1. I not totally agree that it is enough for a BYU & ELC student to have a bike. Because they don't go only to the college, but also they need to go to other places that sometimes are too far, like buying grocery or clothes. But its a very good idea that students riding their bike instead of driving, because its good for their health and for the environment too.

  2. I disagree with the statement because most of the time students might only ride a bicycle to school or work. But, students sometimes need to go on a date, move to a new apartment, etc. Therefore, even students have have a car, they should ride bicycles more often. Riding a bicycle has a lot of benefits; for example, it's good for your health, it saves your money. In my opinion, students should ride bicycles to school. Randy

  3. The “Bike to Work Day” is a good opportunity to show to the people how is better ride a bicycle and leave the cars at home. Because is faster, economic and healthily for the people and for the environment. Every person can participate and can change their mind and start to use more often the bicycle.

  4. I disagree with this statement. If a student has a compus job and doesn't live too far away from school, only having a bike is sufficient for him/her. However, if a student has a off-compus job and live far from school, then it is necessary for him /her to own a car. For example, I have a off compus job. It takes at least 30 mins for me to bike from school to work. I have to drive or I will be late.

  5. This article is talking about participaing in Provo bike week and the encouragement of biking. The event is to take part in a full week of bike events throughout Utah next week.
According to the article, People use bike because it has some advantages. For example, biking is a great way to improve our health, save money and help the environment. Additionally, it also would cause less traffic.
For these reasons, BYU and Provo city is encouraging people to ride a bike by opening a few events.

  6. I agree with this statement I think for students that don't go farther than BYU campus is enough just a bike. I've noticed that most of students of the ELC program live close to their classroom building and they just walk. But for people that for any reason travel farther like Salt Lake it is more convenient to have a car.

  7. I do agree that only having a bicycle is sufficient for BYU & ELC students.First,if student live in Provo and near by school, they don`t need to drive to class, the distance is really close.I walk to school every day it just takes me fifteen minutes walk from apartment to library. In addition, bike to school is cheaper.I saw a lot of students live in apartment around school like Glenwood, they drive to school everyday, they do not only need to pay the gas fee they also need pay the parking fee and the upkeep fee,but for bike, you need pay nothing. And also driving is not good for health, you will find out after eating you just sit into car directly then you can go home, one day you will find your weight is increasing. So, I think just have a bike for student of BYU & ELC is sufficient.

  10. It depends. Some students don't live close to the byu or elc, most of them live in their families homes, so they need to drive to the university, some others that live really close should use a bike, it's easier and better, but it depends where the student is living.
