When I think about the earlier celebrity, I often think about writer, singer, actor or actress and country president. But it is different now. ReplyDeleteJoel Zaejo Daeus his balloon is famous today. he started to make a balloon when he was 14yeras old. he used his talents to pay for his schooling. but he did not know that making balloon sculptures would make him so famous. his video is popular on ESPN and YOU TUBE.he said he enjoy make a balloon for people and he like to be a celebrity with the little kids when he goes to events or parties.

Also, the video that he was making the balloon was posted on Youtube, and it was very popular on YouTube and ESPN. He said that he enjoy making a ballon and he want to be a celebrity to children when he go to events or parties.

This article reminded me the quote of Andy Warhol : "Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes." In the past the only way to be known is being on TV shows or radio talk shows or being a writer. But YouTube gives everyone a chance to share their videos. The video can be just a few minutes long but if the video get popular, the video maker become famous.

Espn wanted to play this video so they contacted this student and thanks to Espn and youtube he became famous.

His work need to spend a lot of time because he created a large life size version ballon. But he really like to make it. and then he posted making video in Youtube.
