Controversy surrounds commercializing of Mandela's Image

  1. i think that this kind of things we can see every day in every part of the world obviously the money is going to the people that are famous.
    i think that everybody can use this kind of commercial to sell products obviously if the person is ok with this. if is the person is died is the money is gonna give to the family this is my opinion.

  2. This article talked about commercializing of Mandela's Image from companies. According to this article, he was first president of south africa, also he did many good things for people.
    After he died, several companies started to use his name, number which he used in proson, pictures as commercial. People who are living in South Africa don't want to use his fame as commercial from other foreign brands.

The 46664 fashion line is the brand that is considered as exploiting Nelson Mandela's image for commercial. However, the CEO of the brand said they don't use his image but people will see his image very rarely. In commercial fields, people are trying to protect not to be damaged Nelson Mandela's image and legacy.
