BYU student & alum bike to raise awareness of oral cancer

This article describes how two men are taking a long journey in an effort to teach people about oral cancer. The story tells about their journey and how it might help others. Summarize the article or comment on the question below.

Have you ever done anything for a charity organization? What did you do? How did it help?

  1. No, I have not done anything for a charity organization. But I want to know if they can really raise awareness of oral cancer. Where they can teach people during they were riding their bikes, and how? Who will listen to them?
    If I do it I will give lecture at school and sent leaflet to people, posting articles online and let people to share the information.

  2. No, I have never done anything for a charity organization. But LDS church in Taiwan, we have a charity activity every year. We gather all the stuff that church member do not need, but the stuff is still useful. We sell the used stuff and then church give away the money that we earn to help other people. I don't actually know how the money works, but I believe church use it wisely.

  5. This artlcle talk about two guys who travle to inform oral cancer. Actually, I have never done anything for a charity organization. However, if I have a chance, I want to do something for a charity organization. Even though it is hard, it will be really good for people.

  6. I have done charity activities before. I have visited nursing homes an hospitals. Just to visit people and talk to them. I did this when I was in the young single adults program of the LDS church. It was a great experience for me because it help me grow and be more grateful for the things God has given me.
