Government jobs is so desirable in China just because these young people have no foresight. They expected for a stable job, but they don not see China is in the eve of big changes, they will lose their jobs in the near future. 30 years ago, being a worker in a state-owned factory was a enviable and stable job, only after 10 years, they lost their jobs and the viability in the society,and became the most miserable social group. These young people who want to be bureaucrats are walking in this way.

ReplyDeleteIn my country are not desirable but people know that if they work in the goberment they will have a great stability and a VERY good paycheck.

The most desirable job in Spain is the governmnet job. The main reason about this choice is that government jobs provide stability, a good income and status. In consequence, to get a work in the Spanish government is extremely difficult. There are thousands of people applying to work as bureaucrats.
ReplyDeleteGovernment jobs in my country is mostly not desirable because it doesn't get paid well, it is stressful, and duty is heavy. The avarage wage of a government job is insufficiant to live there. It is barely afford to pay cost of living. Also, people don't have satisfaction to work in government, because it is such a stressful job. Almost everybody works unwillingly there, because the job is endless and tiring. That's why many people prefer to work in a private company. The benefits of a private company are equel to a government job, although it offers better salary and balanced duty.
