In my country this is a big problem, because throughout the years my country is becoming more dangerous with this, for example each week in my country have been reported more than 2000 cellphone's stoles and really this problem is becoming bigger and bigger. Also, the government co-working with the police have to create strategies to build a safe society and protect all citizens of this problematic.
ReplyDeleteIt is a big problem in Mexico because of the large amount of cellphones that are stolen around the country. This measures have been implemented in Mexico since last year. This would help because it would make more difficult the job of the people that steal cellphones and they would have to pay to get a new number and all the process that follows.
ReplyDeleteIn my country cell phone theft is a big problem. Thieves can kill people just to stole some cell phones such as iphones, blackberries, or tables. This situation is very worrying in my country. Two measures that exist in my country is companies suspend service when owners report their cell phone stolen or lost. If somebody has to reactive the service have to show the receipt. But if a thief has a friend in this kind of companies, he/she can reactive the service for free, so those measure are not enough to solve the big problem of my country.
ReplyDeleteMaybe many years ago, cell phone theft is a big problem in China, but now not, because there are too many cell phones which are not so valuable as before.I don't think the measures in this article is very useful, where is a lock, there is a key, it would not difficult for thieves to unlock those cell phones.
ReplyDeleteActually, It is huge problem in my country. By using stolen cell phone, they are doing bad things. This cell phone is called “Dae-po Phone” in my country. It is very common, and the police know that. However it is hard to find the root of cell phone, and they deal with nobody knows. Therefore, if someone miss their cell phone, they couldn’t find well.

This article is about stolen cell phones and several measures to avoid it. To be honest, it is not a problem in Spain because everybody has cell phones. When I say "cell phones," I mean "expensive cell phones". But sometimes there are people that lose their cell phones. Without a problem to resolve, measures to help in it are unnecessary.

Cell phone theft is a big problem in my country. What makes it worse is because we only use SIM card in phones. If someone steals one, he will have to buy a new SIM card. With a SIM card from the same company the phone will work properly. Unfortunately, none of those measures can really help.
ReplyDeleteIt's a big problem in my country, but everyday is less because everybody have cellphones. This method, with the PIN is very useful in my country but at the same time it does not work that good because thief know how to unlock the cellphones. So, this method work but not as well.
