  2. Definitely the changes of diets would also impact the culture of a country. For example, white people in Europe or north America eat meats mainly, while Asian people's major diets are grain and veg. So the cultures and the personalities are so different between white people and yellow people of Asia.

  3. I'm sure that will change. For the business of ice-cream is not a good season to make money, otherwise for business of soups, jackets or chocolate this is a good season for make money. Although, I am not a soup eater, those days of snow a hot soup is a good choice for the dinner so that I will buy more soup than the usual.

  4. I think the change of diet in some ways will change some country's
cultures. In Taiwan, we have a lot of aboriginal who celebrate crops harvest season, and it is really big day for them and include a ton of activities. By this reason, I believe there are some culture will involve the problem of crops produce less. Randy Lin

  5. I think so. Diet is part of a country's culture. With the expansion of the global trade, it is likely that we will have more similar diets around the world.

  6. This article is about many changes in eating habits as a consequence of climate change.
I think the eating habits can have a huge impact in the culture of a country. For instance, in Peru it was unusual to drink only water. Several years ago, most of Peruvian people used to drink soda or other types of beverages, but always with sugar. But this has been changed, so now is very usual to see Peruvian people drinking water without sugar.

  7. I truly think these changes in what people eat would also impact the culture of a country. For example in my country there were some famous breakfast made from unprocessed manioc (cassava) and corn. Because of the climate change and the global trade, people no longer eat them as breakfast. They prefer to have cereal and other processed food from other country for breakfast.

  8. I think it is possible that diet can change what the culture. The diet of different country means different customs. However, I think it will not change rapidly, but changes little by little. The article says that there probably will be fewer rice in the future, and that definitely will imapact Chinese society a lot!

  9. I think culture come hand to hand. Cultures show thinks and act in some ways depending what they eat. Foe example, in Chile is very common to drink wine, so, when people drink wine they are very happy and friendly. Also, we eat a lot of fruit and this have a lot of sugar so we are very friendly and we are nice to everyone.

  10. I agree with in what people eat could also impact the culture of a country. For instance, in Venezuela, drinking beer with your friends is very important in order to enjoy any activity. It represents a time to be amused and relaxed. This practice of drinking beer has affected my culture because some parents specially men prefer to buy beers than school supplies, or other stuff for their children. As manner of example, I could witness this event several times in my life with my own male friends and uncles.

  11. I agree that the eating changes could impact the culture of the country. As we know, generally, eastern people like to eat as much as vegetables and fresh food while western people like to eat frozen food, such as cheese and some meat. Therefore, their eating culture very different. And they also will have different opinion with the nutrition.
