  1. I don't think I will have this kind of experience. First, I'm not young, old people always don't change. Then, I can got news and popular information everyday from internet. And last, I think it's depend on how many years you have left your hometown, 2or 3 years is not so long, but 10 years would be different.

  3. I really imagine and it makes me scared a little bit. Since in Peru the advancing stop working only in Lima-capital city of Peru- and continue working in cities like Piura, where I lived for almost 10 years, in less than 2 years the city has 4 hypermarkets around the whole city before the city used to buy the groceries in the market. Nowadays, the Peruvian style is really voluble due to that cause it is probably that I will feel awful with my peruvian friends talking about old peruvian music and peruvian teenagers stuff.

  4. I don't think I will have a similar experience like him. I still do the same thing I did back at Taiwan, watch TV shows, go hiking on holidays, etc. I still know what happen in Taiwan, especially I can contact with most of friends and know what happen in Taiwan!

  5. It said about a missionary’s life. When I came here, I used to meet missionaries in my country. It was very interesting. I thought I needed to know about LDS church, because I will go to the BYU ELC. It was my first step to go here. It was very interesting, too. I still meet another missionaries here. I like to learn church’s history, and we can talk about faith, belief, and happiness. And they can help me about English, too. When I see them, I think I proud of them. The reason is they spend time to know and teach their church to many people. It would be useful time for them. But I heard that they have little bit a limitation in their missionary’s life. It’s so sad. However, they can get a lot of thing during that time. I will pray for them.

  6. Missionaries who disconnect their mind of the common world can elevate their spirits and achieve maturity about what means to live. I think, it doesn't matter if you need to catch-up after the mission, the important thing is to continue your life, learn about the new changes in the world, and use the new knowledge to improve their future.

  7. when I go back my country 2 years late. For sure, my sister will say my taste is changed and my tanned skin will reduce the score for my looks. And I will keep the lifestyle of America for a few months. I will face some troubles because I do not know what have changed in my hometown. People will think I am a wired when I run beside the street. If I keep wear t-shirt and jeans, people will say you are out of date even my case is much more freedom than the missionary.

  8. The article is about returned missionaries face to cultural shock in their home countries. First missionary is talking about getting back in his old habit to watch sports after his missionary. Another missionary amazed advanced technology. They try to adjust, find balance in their life changes, and socialize again.

  10. About me, I will not have this kind of experience because in Europe there are a lot of pop culture, even more than the USA. In fact, I enjoyed it for many years. So when I back to Spain, I will continue doing my work and my life like so far.

  11. I think I'm not going to experience such things. First, I'll go back home soon and the fact that I have access to internet and talk to my family everyday will help me a lot when I go back to Brazil. The only thing that I have to get used again is the food.

  12. I don't imagine that I will have a similar experience when I go back to my country. Technology is almost everywhere, so I will use this opportunity to stay connected with my family. I have the capacity to adapt myself easily. It is really good to know what is knew about every thing but that would not be my number one priority. I may be left behind just for a moment, nevertheless, it will not be so difficult to catch-up when I come back home.

  13. I think this will happen to me because I do not know anything about my country even when I was there. So, if I return I will be very lost about everything, politics, economy, showbiz and T.V shows. When my friends put things about Chile I feel so bad because I do not know anything about my country. The only thing left for me to do is look for the big last thing of my country and be more patriots.

  14. I think that I will not be feel like him if I go back to my country.
Of course something will be able to change. However, I check the internet everyday. From there I can get many information, though I am not in my country. So when I will go back to Korea, it will not be weired.

  15. I go back to Colombia only for vacation because I live here, I got married here with an american so this is my home now. When I visit my country I feel like the misionaries because many thing has changed since I live here in USA.I miss so many things and just thinking in the idea of living tyhere again makes me feel homesick.

  16. When I will go back to Korea, I will feel the same thing. I have lived in Prono for one year and I will stay here more. I may be feel foreign in my own country. Koreans are very busy everyday and they like to do something very fest. So I guess I will be stressful.
