  1. This article talk about the professor gave his speech and told students and faculty :keep a positive attitude and see the good of the world. I think the second step that I need to improve. It is hard to consist the challenges or adversity. I am used to transfer my challenges to something else. I am not cheerful if I achieve the challenge using a huge of effort. So i need improve this step.

  2. I really like this article. Answering the question that was formulated before, I think my step that I need to improve could be the second one. It is because sometimes I feel that my problems are much bigger than my positive things, for that reason sometimes I feel that my problems don't have any solution. I think if I improve this step, it could help me to be a more positive person, also with our heavenly father's help we are going to be, positive people and we are only going to see the good aspects in our life, and in the troubling moments we are going to have an extra help to solve them.

  3. It announced that Jeff Wilk’s speech. He emphasized optimism, and introduced five points to be positive. It is really interesting, because I wrote same subject in a paragraph a few days ago. I didn’t suggest some points like him. I just wrote some reason why you will be optimistic in your life. When I was reading the article, I realized the points to be that. If I knew the speech early, I would attend to there. It is very impressed all of people, because the subject was attractive, and he taught a lot of thing with his story.

  4. I think I need to remember the joy in my live more to make me a more positive person. In the past, when I felt depress about the work I do, or the relationship between families or friends, I used to think that my life is sadly and miserable. That is really very negative, and made me can't do anything well! Now, I know what to do!

  5. I think the motivation who move us to do great things every time is what be a person optimistic in this case is Gospel and be focused in Eternal Father. Because, last conference I heard from a speaker that is easier to live the gospel than not live it. As a result of live it, someone can face problems easily.

  6. In my opinion, the second point is very touching to me. If something is too hard or too much to me, I usually quit that. So when I read the sentence that “Never give up…do all things that cheerfully lie in your power,” It was punch line to me. So I think I need to always remember what he mentioned.

  8. This article was useful for me. Sometimes, I feel sad because learning a new language hasn't been easy for me like some members of my family. However, when Jeff said "no matter what struggles challenges" that is true because I need to recognize how much I have improved in my learning and how much I have been blessing for studying in an important place, so I have to be positive and continue working on my goal.

  9. I like the fourth point. There are many things that I can't explain why it happens to me when I get depressed. However, I try to except everything, all challenge, hardships, and burdens as a teaching in my life, because everything happens in my life is a gift from God. Thinking back what I've seen in my life made me how I'm now, and I'm grateful for it. I understand this since I've found a faith in God.

  11. This article talks about a BYU accountancy professor gave a speech in Marriott Center. In his speech, he gave five points to suggest students to live in positive and hopeful lives. Those five points are striving for righteousness, never give up, keeping focused on Heavenly Father, Heavenly Father’s approval that matters most, and be happy and hopeful.

  12. In my opinion, the third step: “Never give up…do all things that cheerfully lie in your power,” is the most important because we have to face several challenges in our life. Although to reach our objects may take a long time, we need to be brave and don't give up to our dreams and goals.

  13. On this article the Professor Jeff Wilks talks about five important ways to maintain a positive life and be happy. First, strive for righteousness. Second, never give up no matter what trials we have in life. Third, keeping focus on Heavenly Father. Fourth, remember that the approval of Heavenly father is more important than the approval of men. Fifth, to remember and find the joy in the life.
I liked this article because I believe that being positive is one of the most important qualities in life. When a person is positive, that person attracts positive people and positive events in his/her life. Being positive is also being grateful for our Heavenly Father's blessings.

  14. I think I should try harder to find joy in my life and be grateful about all the blessings on it. I'm pretty sure that when I start doing this, I'll become a positive person.

  15. For me, the latest three steps are related, so we need all of them to be a more positive person. It is compulsory to keep focus on Heavenly Father so that we can remember that His approval is more important than anyone else's. When we are focus on Him we will never forget about his mercy and love. As said the words of the hymn'' Count your blessings, name them one by one; Count your blessings, see what God hath done! Count your blessings, name them one by one; And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.''
After having contemplated His blessing, and remembered that God always wants what is best for us, we shall live a much happier life. We will be more positive and full of joy.
